TRANSFORM FIRE PROBLEM

Remtech responded to a transformer fire/explosion in central Georgia. A bushing pole insulator shorted out causing a fire/explosion that activated the fire water deluge extinguishing system. Debris (porcelain, paper) from the insulators was broadcast over 300 ft from transformer.  An estimated 500 gallons of dielectric fluid were released to fire containment basins, oil/water separator, power company grounds, and a detention pond.

POWER PLANT EXPLOSION SOLUTION
