RemtechTM Air Stripping Towers
Remtech low-maintenance/low-cost
stripping towers are constructed of PVC and are available in 10, 12, 14,
and 18 inch diameters. Standard stripping towers are 20 feet high and filled
with 1-inch Tri-pack media. Other column diameters, heights, column shell
materials of construction, and packing media are available upon request.
Life cycle costs for towers are the lower than diffused air or plate strippers.
Remtech towers are supplied with a radial blower, inlet and outlet piping flanges, inlet distributor, mist eliminator, and guy wires. Inlet pumps, piping, flow meters, controls, sensing systems, and equipment insulation are specified on a site specific basis. Other Remtech pre and post-treatment systems include: oil/water separators, sand filters, carbon filters, and off-gas treatment.
A recirculation/effluent reservoir facilitates connecting columns in series or parallel to treat variable groundwater flowrates and characterizations. Remtech stripping towers are designed to withstand temperatures from below 0 to 160 degrees F and are treated with an ultraviolet light resistant coating.
Remtech's groundwater and soil remedial systems may be purchased or leased. A Systems Operation and Service (SOS) agreement at a fixed monthly rate
