Remtech^TM Model 1.0 SLURP Recovery Well Pump

Remtech's Model 1.0 SLURP recovery well pump is a controllerless double diaphragm pump that serves as a total fluids groundwater depression and floating product removal pump. The Model 1.0 is designed to fit in a 2-inch or larger diameter recovery well and operates at section lifts of up to 20 feet below grade. The Slurp is mounted in a 2 foot square vault and the suction inlet line is lowered inside the well casing to the target drawdown elevation to create a cone of depression. Groundwater is depressed until suction is broken where free product and vapors are removed. As the well recharges, the pump runs through an automatic slurp cycle, i.e., removes floating product thicknesses to a sheen.

The Model 1.0 is powered by a programmable timer that actuates a solenoid valve on the compressor air feed line. The SLURP is constructed of aluminum and the wetted parts Buna, Viton^®, or Teflon. The pumping range is from 0 to 20 gallons per minute. Standard components include: screened inlet, flap check valve, surge suppressor, by-pass line, 20 feet of 5/8-inch flex suction line, air filter, and regulator.

SLURP options include: compressor, programmable timer solenoid control valve, (multi-channel timer for multiple pump installations), discharge and air lines.
