LABORATORY SERVICES

Comprehensive environmental and occupational health analytical services are available through a network of certified laboratories strategically located across the U.S. Quality assurance protocols meet CLP, state, federal, EPA, NIOSH, and other regulatory requirements and certifications.

TRAINING

Remtech offers training programs to comply with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory programs. Training programs include: worker, supervisor, and annual refresher hazardous waste site activity training (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120), asbestos worker and supervisor certification training (AHERA - 1986 Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act), right-to-know training, underground tank management training, and operations and maintenance training for toxic and hazardous waste facilities.

SITE INVESTIGATIONS

Remtech's professionals have over 25 years experience in remedial investigations covering activities from field investigations through data analysis and evaluation. Remtech employs several methods to conduct investigations including: geophysical surveys; hydrologic and geologic characterizations; waste inventories; topographic and aerial surveys; and multi-media sampling techniques.

Remtech has completed over 1000 site investigations involving test pitting, drilling, groundwater well installations, sampling, modeling, and analysis. Contamination assessments have been completed for a wide array of wastes including: chemical, ordnance, biological agents, dioxins, radioactive materials, and controlled substances.

ASBESTOS SURVEYS &
ABATEMENT

Remtech personnel have completed over four million square feet of asbestos facility surveys, specifications, construction management, compliance air monitoring, and turnkey asbestos abatement projects.

Remtech senior project personnel were selected by the University of Maryland's asbestos abatement program in 1979. This project received an Honorable Mention Award from the American Consulting Engineers Counsel of Missouri in 1980.
